Penn Squall Star Drag Conventional Fishing Reel

The Penn Squall is designed as a conventional casting reel from the ground up. The Penn Squall Star Drag Reel features a live spindle with a free floating spool plus an externally adjustable magnetic casting brake for the ultimate in casting distance and control. The Squall also has a graphite frame and a machine aluminum spool for light weight and strength plus a high-strength marine grade bronze alloy main gear. The Patented Versa-Drag system allows for multiple drag settings for various fishing conditions - So whether you are fishing light monofilament or heavy braid the Penn Squall can be set to the perfect drag.
